From the Manufacturer The 560-3250 Mitre Clamp Kit from the Robert Larson Company is designed to solve one of the trickiest clamping situations in all of woodworking; that is, to effortlessly secure mitre joints during gluing. The Mitre Clamp Kit is ideal for securing mitred picture frames, crown moldings, corner baseboards, door and window casings and other finished and trim carpentry needs. The ring clamps have also proved useful to furniture restorers, boat builders and wood carvers. The Mitre Clamp Kit includes German-made, high-strength spring steel rings (quantity of 48) and an easy-to-use companion application tool all packaged in a beech wood storage box. The heavy-duty steel rings have sharp tips that draw the board ends tightly together for a secure mitre joint. To accommodate a wide variety of mitre work pieces from large moldings to small picture frames, the kit contains six different ring sizes.
